The annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event drew large crowds to Dundas Square on Thursday.

The march, organized by the White Ribbon Campaign, saw colourful high heels make their way down Yonge Street to promote awareness about violence against women.

Cars honked in support and pedestrians told marchers they “look fabulous.”

Along the way, leaders at the front of the parade shouted warnings such as “rail!” to make sure no marchers got stuck in Yonge Street’s many traps.
