Ryerson theatre students will be moved out of their home in the Ryerson Theatre School building on 44 Gerard St. E. at the end of the academic year, Gerd Hauck, dean of the Faculty of Communication and Design, confirmed to The Eyeopener.
A new location to house theatre performance programs — acting, dance and production — is currently being selected, Hauck said.
“Our long-term goal is to build a space [for the theatre school] within the next five years,” he said.
