Natasha Campagna becomes new RSU general manager

By Farnia Fekri

The new Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) general manager position has officially been filled, according to an email obtained by The Eyeopener.

Natasha Campagna, student engagement and business development coordinator of the Ryerson Commerce Society, will be leaving her post to take the role.

“I am writing to you today to let you know that I will be leaving my position as of Friday November 27th,” she said in the email, “and starting a new role as General Manager for the Ryerson Students’ Union on Monday November 30th.”

The general manager position was first posted on the RSU website on Oct. 20. After 10 days, the posting was taken down and the interviewing process began.

According to RSU President Andrea Bartlett, the role is supposed to help the annually-changing executives transition more smoothly, and add a full-time staff member in a managing position to overlook financial operations.
