RyeSAC executive hopefuls: Posse out!

Who: Sajjad Wasti

Running for: v.p. finance and services

He plans to: invest in our community, protect our interest in the students’ centre and connect students with the resources they need.

In 10 words (more) or less: I’ll take care of business. We’ll get a student centre. No doubt!

Who: Donald Kaye

Running for: v.p. finance and services

He plans to: expand RyeSAC’s bursary program and close the communication gap between RyeSAC and you.

In 10 words (more) or less: I’m v.p. finance. Yes I’m the real v.p. finance. All you other v.p. finances are just imitating.

Who: Ken Marciniec

Running for: v.p. education

He plans to: freeze all tuition fees, restore public education funding and create a student centred Ryerson.

In 10 words or less: I promise to promise everything, and nothing less will do.

Who: Crystal Adair

Running for: v.p. student life

She plans to: create more student groups and “kickin” parties, hold daytime events for commuting students and recognize student achievement.

In 10 words or less: kickin’ parties, held during the day, what else you want?

Who: Bruce Jolly

Running for: v.p. student life

He plans to: throw parties. No word yet on whether they’ll be “kickin” or merely “punchin.” Oh, and someday I’ll put up posters.

In 10 words or less: I’m a student. I’m alive. What’s more, I’m Jolly!

Running for: president

He plans to: protect Ryerson’s reputation and improve class quality, put students’ issues first and take a moderate and balanced approach.

Running for: president

He plans to: fight the cuts by protecting programs and services, provide safety and respect for everyone and more resources for student groups and course unions.

In 10 words or less: I’m an activist, damnit! I’ll protest your vote for Darren.
