Grammy-winning artist Miguel, who was supposed to headline at the Sept. 11 Orientation concert, canceled his performance last minute.
The Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) announced the cancellation through Twitter just hours before the concert.
Just in:Unfortunately, Miguel will not be playing at the concert tonight. We’re still pumped for Future, Zeds Dead and P Reign!#RSUWOW15

“It’s shitty that he didn’t show, we were really looking forward to having him and I know many students were too,” said Cormac McGee, the RSU’s vice president education, in a text message.
Miguel Jontel Pimentel, known as Miguel, is best known for his albums Kaleidoscope Dream and Wildheart. The event, which is the 55 Annual Parade and Concert, is still set to feature Future, Zeds Dead, P Reign and a special guest.
