After numerous delays, the Yonge-Dundas development is officially a go, and Ryerson is optimistic it will reap the benefits.
“This is a great day for Ryerson,” said the school’s president Claude Lajeunesse last Wednesday at a news conference.
“The project is a major improvement on our ability to better serve some students,” he said, and added the campus would be more “welcoming to students.”
Ryerson gets $1 million up front for signing the deal, and a guaranteed increase in revenue from the parking garage.
