A Ryerson student charged with spanking a man on campus won’t be back in classes because he doesn’t make the grade — academically.
“It has absolutely nothing to do with his charges,” said Dawn Little, a spokeswoman at Ryerson’s Registrar’s Office.
The student was arrested last April after a man was spanked over another man’s knee in Jorgenson Hall’s games room.
Police said the man was spanked while applying for a position at the games room.
The accused, who worked at the games room at the time, is charged with six other counts of sexual assault, four in 1997, one in 1996 and another in 1995.
Aaron Benditt, 24, a former journalism student, appeared in court at Old City Hall on Sept. 5 and returns Sept. 25. A trial date was not yet set.
