Three weeks after the resignation of Bob Crow, a new director of university advancement is on the block.
Jack Radford, who was the executive-in-residence in the faculty of business, has taken on Crow’s old duties and will oversee the department of fundraising and marketing.
This temporary position ends May 1999, when a new v.p. overseeing development, alumni and external affairs will be announced.
Radford was approached by Ryerson president Claude Lajeunesse last week about the position. Over the weekend, Ryerson administration decided to give Radford the nod.
Radford hopes to be a candidate for the new v.p. development position.
Ian Marlatt, director of public affairs and marketing communications, took over as interim executive director when Crow resigned Sept. 17.
He was told the position would last until the school found a suitable replacement, and will now return to his former position.
