Fuel Station assault case pushed back

The trial of a Ryerson student charged with assault after a fight outside the Fuel Station has been moved to Oct. 27.  Brian Yuen, a 23-year-old, fourth-year business management student is charged with assault with a weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon.

He was arrested after an off-duty police officer was hit in the head with a beer bottle outside the popular student hang-out Sept. 15.

Justice Grace Lau allowed Yuen to skip last Friday’s court date after his lawyer showed proof Yuen has a new part-time job at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
