Ryerson will receive more than $4-million from the provincial government to upgrade campus facilities, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities announced Monday. The money, allocated through the Superbuild Facilities Renewal Program, is part of a $140-million initiative to improve buildings at Ontario colleges and universities. Ryerson received the 10th highest cash infusion behind the York University, Queen’s University, the University of Guelph, the University of Ottawa and others.
The University of Toronto received more than $18.5-million – the most of any school. Ministry spokesperson Dave Ross said the funding is linked to the size of the school and the number of students.
