Two dance students rehearse for the Ryerson Theatre Company’s five-part Dances 2001 which features choreography by Lawrence Gradus, Carol Anderson, Vicki St. Denys, Sylvie Bouchard and Sasha Ivanochko.
Rodney Morgan, a second-year dance student, is dancing in the show. “A lot of the people don’t know what we do across the street. We’re here for 60 hours per week,” he says. “These dancers are the most amazing group of people. Their dedication to the pieces is baffling, some of them have worked themselves into the ground.”
Dances 2001 runs from Nov. 20-24. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. For into call (416) 979-5118 or visit www.ryersontheatre.com.
