Let the mass postering begin

Nominations for the four RyeSAC executive positions opened yesterday (Jan. 8). The positions available are v.p. Finance and services, v.p. Education, v.p. Student life and events, and president. The nominations close and campaigning begins Jan. 18.

A healthy affair

RyeSAC and the Ryerson Health Center are hosting a health fair in the credit union lounge on the first floor of Jorgenson Hall next week. The fair runs from Monday Jan. 14 to Friday Jan 18, and offers information, massages and free health gifts.

Alumni awards

Nominations for Ryerson’s Alumni Achievement Awards are now open. Two awards, the Alumni Award of Distinction and the Outstanding Recent Graduate Award, are up for grabs. Community members can nominate alumni by completing a nomination form available on Ryerson’s website. Nomination close January 31, 2002.

Protest preparation

Action meetings in preparation for the Feb. 6 student protest and day of action will take place at Oakham House at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Jan. 9.
