SEXUAL ASSAULT ON GOULD STREET

Ryerson Security and Emergency Services was advised by Toronto Police Services of a sexual assault on Gould Street that happened on Saturday, Sept. 8 at approximately 8:15 a.m.

The full security notice:

“A woman was walking westbound on Gould Street near Bond Street when a man walked up behind her, lifted her skirt, and grabbed her buttocks. He then ran away northbound through the Quad. The woman was not physically injured.

“The description of the man is similar to that of a man for whom Toronto Police issued an Alert for a similar sexual assault, which Security and Emergency Services shared with the Ryerson community on Sept. 5, 2012.

“Toronto Police are continuing to investigate these incidents and are attempting to determine if the same person is responsible for multiple sexual assaults in the downtown area.”

The subject is described as:

  • Male
  • Dark complexion
  • Early 20’s
  • Medium Build
  • Approximately 6’ 2” or 6’3” / 1m 88 – 90 cm tall
  • Black hooded sweatshirt with white writing across the chest, a patch on one of the shoulders, dark grey sweat pants, black and white running shoes.
