Hundreds of men from all over the city slipped into their sexiest pair of high-heels on Thursday to take steps towards ending violence against women.
Walk A Mile In Her Shoes helps to raise awareness and funding for White Ribbon – a campaign organized by men that aims to promote gender equity and put a stop to violence. This year marks the fifth annual event.
Participants met in Yonge-Dundas Square where they each put on a pair of heels before taking off on the one mile walk through the downtown core.
This year, the men raised over $80,000 for the White Ribbon campaign.
