RSU announces opt-out cheque delay

Students who opted-out of the Ryerson Students’ Union (RSU) Health and Dental plan online are going to have to wait a little longer for their money.

The RSU announced in a Facebook post that direct deposit refunds will be given out on Nov. 17, instead of the original Nov. 10 date. Students who opted-out in-person are unaffected by this and can still pick up their cheques on Nov. 10.

The post apologizes for the delay, stating “We thank you for your patience and will continue to update you promptly as we go through this transition period.”
