Fourth-year business finance student Mohammed Kablawi died on Sept. 21 after a car crash, according to a release from the Ontario Provincial Police. He was 21.
After a single-vehicle collision in the Northern Bruce Peninsula on Sept. 5, Kablawi went into a coma.
His friend and soccer intramural teammate, Sal Judieh, described Kablawi as “the type of guy who would never say anything bad about anyone” and “someone who was always smiling.”
Kablawi was set to graduate in October, according to Judieh.
Police said that four others in the Jeep Wrangler crash were injured.
Correction: A previous version of this story mistakenly spelled Mohammed Kablawi’s name “Kabalawi.” We regret the error.
