Construction workers have closed off Gould Street from car access while they deal with the issue in front of South and East Kerr Hall. Though there has been no actual pipe burst reported in the SCC or Oakham, the manager of maintenance and operations at Campus Facilities + Sustainability, Dan Neri, said the building is closed for safety reasons. The water main break, he said, stops the access of water to the sprinklers in the building.

Jennifer Stacey, the general manager of the SCC, said the buildings will remain closed while the city determines and deals with the pipe damage. The Ram in the Rye tweeted that they expect to be fully operational by tomorrow.
