Man taken to hospital after stabbing at Yonge and Gerrard streets

A man in his 20s is in the hospital after a stabbing near Yonge and Gerrard streets Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Yonge Street south of the intersection.

Paramedics say the victim was taken to the hospital with a single stab wound.

There is one suspect in custody.
