Arrest made on campus in stolen taxi police pursuit

The driver of a stolen taxi was arrested on campus March 3 after a police pursuit that began in Cobourg, Ont., an hour east of Toronto.

CP24 reported that police were notified the taxi was headed into the city around 12:15 p.m. Reports say the vehicle was stolen on Wednesday night.

Toronto Police Service assisted the Ontario Provincial Police in making the arrest near Yonge and Gould Streets. The suspect is in custody, according to CP24.
