Ryerson radio television arts grad Lindsey Addawoo joins host Michael D’Alimonte to discuss her short film, Queen of Hearts. As reported in The Eyeopener this week, the movie is a Black feminist fantasy set in the Victorian era. Addawoo explains how the film came to be and why she thinks it couldn’t have been made at Ryerson.
