Chris Moise has been elected city councillor of Toronto Centre, Toronto Metropolitan University’s (TMU) ward.
CP24 declared Moise as the winner, with 48.4 per cent of the vote at the time of publishing.
As previously reported by The Eyeopener, Moise has been a public school trustee for the last six years.
His platform stated that he will be advocating for expanding housing opportunities for students, improving public safety and security and building on safe public spaces.
John Tory has also been re-elected mayor of Toronto for a third term, giving him the opportunity to be the longest serving mayor if he remains in office for his full term.
