Last week the streak ended. This week a new streak has begun.
When the York Yeomen defeated the Windsor Lancers last week, 18-8, they ended their record 47-game losing streak. On Saturday, the Yeomen followed that up with a 10-6 victory over the Guelph Gryphons.
Now for the first time in a decade the Yeomen are battling for a playoff spot.
With four games left in the season, York is tied for third place with Waterloo, Toronto and McMaster.
