TMU fall to Princeton in exhibition match

In a special U Sports and National Collegiate Athletic Association face-off, the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) Bold men’s volleyball team lost to the Princeton Tigers at the Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC) on Saturday night.

The three sets ended 21-25, 20-25 and 19-25, all in favour of Princeton.

The match was the Bold’s first of the new year, and is the first stop on the Tigers’ Canadian preseason exhibition trip. The 2025 Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association regular season champions, the Tigers are set to face the McMaster Marauders on Jan. 6.

UP NEXT: The Bold will continue with the regular season in their matchup against the Western University Mustangs on Jan. 9 at the MAC. First-serve flies at 8 p.m.
