Two men are being questioned by police after a two hour stand off at Yonge and Gerrard this morning.
Toronto Police received an emergency call at 6:50 a.m. about two men in a car with a possible firearm.
The call came in from a citizen driving in the car behind them.
Police had the car pulled over in front of local restaurant Big Slice. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic was blocked from Elm to Gerrard on Yonge, and as far East as Church on Gerrard Street.
Police called in negotiators to coax the men from the car. The passenger got out of the car first, followed later by the driver, with no force required.
The driver was taken into custody, and both men are being questioned.
A firearm has not yet been found.
