The Ryerson Image Centre has a new exhibit illustrating the effects of climate change around the world—a bird carcass with remnants of digested plastic, zebras huddling for warmth in the midst of a snowy setting and forestry full of rubber tire debris are just some of the juxtaposed images in the project.
Edge of the Earth: Climate Change in Photography and Video is available from Sept. 14 to Dec. 4 in the RIC, and features a range of diverse artists: Amy Balkin, Raymond Boisjoly, Edward Burtynsky, Naoya Hatakeyama, Isabelle Hayeur, Mishka Henner, Chris Jordan, Richard Misrach, Evariste Richer, Joel Sternfeld and Sharon Stewart.
