The Ryerson School of Performance officially moved into their new space in the Student Learning Centre (SLC) on Oct. 14.
The new space includes two dance studios, one multi-purpose studio, a studio theatre, a wardrobe teaching lab, a sound and lighting teaching lab, office space, a street level box office and lockers for performance students.
“It has been exciting to move into the new state-of-the-art space in the SLC this week as phase one of a two-phase plan to provide a new home for the School of Performance,” said Peggy Shannon, chair of the Ryerson School of Performance.
“While we are all extremely grateful for this new space, we look forward to a future home that brings us back together as a School of Performance.”
Performance students have also been allocated to space in Kerr Hall, Atrium on Bay, the Victoria building and Eric Palin Hall.
