The academic exchange program at Ryerson consists of spending a semester (or more) at a post-secondary institution outside of Canada. It’s widely known by university students as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel the world, make lifelong connections and diversify one’s perspective on life.
While many students have various financial resources at their disposal, whether it be savings they afforded while living at home or help from their parents — many don’t, and that financial barrier can be a huge barrier for going on exchange.
