I commend Kathy Blessin for her “Politicalamity” column, although I believe at times it lacks true integrity and validity (i.e. “…they could perfect a split jump/double cherry flip combination with a double toe walley…”) It has become apparent to me, and perhaps to many other readers that Kathy has accomplished what a political columnist sets out to do. She has created a stir among her readers. This stir, whether positive or nergative, has produced numerous responses (see Eye letters, Feb. 1).
Sometimes it takes a spark of controversy to promote awareness among the masses. Well done, Kathy—a great manipulator makes a great political columnist.
