The results from the latest Ryerson’s Instructor Course Evaluations (ICE) are in.
Health Services Management students thought enough of their department to rank it first out of the 34 programs offered by the university. Those computer sheets pimpled with circles that beckoned for HB fulfillment actually meant something after all.
But while Health Services students have apparently been enjoying the cream of Ryerson’s crop, others are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Journalism plummeted 10 spots from the first semester to a lowly 32nd place ranking, third from last. Journalism’s poor placement is surprising, considering Ryerson’s reputation as one of the best journalism programs in Canada. Other programs feeling the sting of the poisoned pencil are Electrical and Civil/Survey Engineering. The two engineering departments occupy the two bottom rungs of Ryerson’s ladder, according to students in the programs. Engineering’s crappy ranking is also surprising considering Ryerson has one of the largest engineering departments in Ontario.
Here are the latest rankings of Rye’s programs, as judged by you, the students.
