This year’s contenders for vice-president positions at RyeSAC all have high hopes of improving Ryerson, but have very different ideas on how to do it.
Gord Tanner, a third-year social work student and VP education candidate, thinks the biggest issue is identifying students’ needs.
Angus Maciver, a third-year environmental health student, is also seeking the VP education position. Maciver wants to use the internet to increase access to student groups.
David Steele is running for VP administration. The fourth-year technical theatre production student wants to improve student services.
Brenda Kritsch, a third-year business management student is another VP administration candidate. Kritsch will focus on improving the campus community.
John McGowan, in third-year business management, is the only student in the running for VP finance.
