Students and staff in the SCC lobby were tickled pink by Ryerson’s Muslim Students Association’s displays for International Pink Hijab Day.
The event, which aimed to support the fight against breast cancer and educate the Ryerson community about the hijab and the women who wear it, gave participants the chance to baked good (decorated pink, of course), try on hijabs themselves and have their questions about Islam answered. The days proceeds went to breast cancer research.
