Elections!

It’s true. You could be an Eyeopener editor. We have several positions that need to be filled for next semester. The following roles are open to all students: Features editor, Ass. News editor,  Ass. Photo editor, Arts & Life editor, Sports editor and Online editor.

If you want to run, you need to: come into our office (SCC 207) and fill out a nomination form, make an 8.5 x 11 election poster to woo people to vote for you, and prepare a two-minute speech for election night.

Bring your poster into the office by Nov. 15.

Election speeches will be held at the Ram in the Rye, Nov. 16  at 7 p.m.

Voting will happen Nov. 17 in the Eyeopener offices, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

The following people can vote- all of them have contributed at least four times to the Eyeopener: current masthead members, Van Vandaelle, Matt Kennedy, Charles Vanegas, Diana Hall, Dasha Zolota, Marissa Dederer, Kai Benson, Jeff Lagerquist, Gabe Lee, Victor Ferreira, Shannon Higgins, Megan Higgins, David Brooks, Jaskrit Dua, Josh O’Kane, Emma McGregor, Chris Roberts, Nick Tsergas, J.D. Mowat and Liane McLarty.

Good luck to all of you!
