Members of the Ryerson community gathered in the Hub’s upper cafeteria on Feb. 25 in order to raise awareness about what it means to be an Aboriginal at Ryerson.
The Cultural Awareness Committee in collaboration with Ryerson Aboriginal Student Services hosted an afternoon of music, art, food and storytelling. Different vendors had Aboriginal crafts on display for people to view. Speakers also shared their personal experiences regarding their culture with attendees.
The event was intended to help celebrate cultural differences and diversity on campus.
