Pat Mills would skip class every year to watch movies at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). When he graduated from Ryerson’s film program in 2002, his dream was to have one of his own movies in TIFF. This year, that dream finally came true. His new feature film, Guidance — which Mills wrote, directed and starred in — had its world premier last week.
