Here’s our guide to campus art this week

School is coming to a close, and you’re sitting in your bedroom thinking, “Shit, I haven’t done enough artsy things this year.” Well, my sad, uncultured friend, you’re in luck. Ryerson has a lot of really cool and hip and Instragram-worthy events you can attend this week. And because I love you and want you to be as artsy as you possibly can on social media, I’ve listed them for you here.

Au Natural art exhibit at the Gladstone Hotel

March 9-April 2: This wearable art collection examines female nakedness and its relationship with laws and policies. It will especially focus on gender inequality in those laws and policies, as well as celebrate the female body.

Showcase 2017 at the burroughes building

Mar. 30, 6-10 p.m. (639 Queen St. W.): This is an annual gallery night showcasing the work of Ryerson’s creative industries students across all mediums.

Women in Film 2017 in the Image Arts building

April 1, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (IMA 307, 122 Bond St.): A group of established women filmmakers, producers, directors and cinematographers will be coming to the Image Arts Building to show off their talents and field student questions
