The university’s plan to open a satellite campus on Brampton grounds has finally been approved by the Ontario government.
Following a $90 million investment, the Ontario government announced last week that a Ryerson site will be built next to the Brampton downtown GO Station.
“In expanding to Brampton, Ryerson University will provide much-needed university programs to students in one of the fastest-growing and most diverse communities in Canada,” said Ryerson president Mohamed Lachemi at the announcement in Brampton.
