Ryerson Mobile is an app designed to help students during their time on campus. From navigating school grounds, accessing D2L or booking a room in the Sheldon & Tracy Levy Student Learning Centre, the app, in theory, is an encyclopedia for any student seeking information about the university.
However, as many returning students would know, the app is far from perfect. Most first-years download it only to realize it’s just enough of an app for you to see its potential, then quickly realize that literally anything would be better. The app currently has a 1.5/5 rating on Apple’s App Store and a 2.9/5 on Google Play.
Most of the criticism arose due to it making a user login each time they switched features within the app. It won’t remember your login. On top of that, it hasn’t been updated since 2017, yet runs like it’s permanently stuck in 2004.
