Two weeks ago, Michelle Parise, a second-year RTA student wrote to The Eyeopener regarding the lack of radio courses offered in the program. Last week, an anonymous RTA student sent her a letter telling her to “transfer to Humber and stop bitching.” Expressing one’s opinion and challenging the system isn’t “bitching.”
Sine Ryerson does offer radio courses in first year and television in second, how wrong is it to think that third year would actually offer a variety of radio courses too? Since the “RTA-er who can read” is so vocal, maybe next time this person should leave a name.
