Bar scrawl: The Eyeopener bar guide

John A. MacDonald did it. Ralph Klein still does it. Ernest Hemingway and Gertrude Stein did it in Paris. Keith Richards does it frequently. And thousands of students carry on the tradition by making it almost a way of life.

Going to bars.

Hey, it’s fun, it’s a good way to meet people and get away from the monotonous bullshit of university life.

So in recognition of the student national pastime, The Eyeopener proudly presents Pub Scrawl: An eight-page celebration and examination of some of what this city has to offer in the way of night life.
