Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, visited Ryerson students on Thursday as a part of the fall MBA student lecture series.
Ralph E. Lean, who serves as distinguished counsel in residence at the Ted Rogers School of Management, moderated the discussion. He led them through a list of questions submitted beforehand by students, and allowed for random questions throughout.
While the discussion began with business inquiries it quickly transitioned to baseball. Shapiro answered questions on equality in sports and how he deals with the media.
