T.O academics sign open letter to save jobs

Academics from the University of Toronto, York and Ryerson added their support to an open letter to mayor Rob Ford and city council, which expresses the need to save up to a thousand city cleaning jobs from being outsourced. The letters, individually packaged, were delivered to the mayor’s office and city councillors Thursday.

Singh disqualified from RSU elections

The results of this year’s presidential election were announced last Wednesday Feb. 8 but for presidential candidate, Suraj Singh, the votes would not count. He confirmed prior to the final polling that he had been disqualified from the 2012 RSU election.
